CRUSH THE NORM
To deliver a showcase employee engagement event in Barcelona for 2,000 employees, with a full brand venue takeover, dynamic business content, a range of evening and networking activities, and a fully themed closing party.
In our third year as production partner for KingfoMarket and the second time at the CCIB Barcelona, the challenge was to make this event fresh and exciting for both new and repeat attendees.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
Creative environmental design and content production delivery were paramount in making the event feel fresh and exciting. The stage plenary commenced with a bespoke Guitar Hero inspired mass participation experience for 2,000 employees that enabled the entire organisation to work together to kick-off the event.
We were responsible for immersing the attendees in a multi-sensory stage set, creative content, scriptwriting, speaker facilitation and technical management.
This year, we organised and managed over 100 breakout sessions across the two-day event, supporting the content planning process, providing all AV, logistics, room briefing and management support.
An exciting challenge for us was bringing the playful personality of the brand to life within an exhibition venue. Using King’s colours, we delivered sweeping shapes, playful signage, stand design, screen content, event dressing and wayfinding as well as digital branding.
In addition to delivering the extensive conference programme, we designed and executed a showcase of King’s live game titles in a range of exhibition stands all styled to their own brand. Evening activities included a roller disco with a live DJ set and flash mob performers, a dodgeball tournament, massage room, banquet meal, and ping pong.
To close the event, we produced a fully themed ‘Magic, Myths & Legends’ party, featuring five different realms with incredible props, lighting and surprise experiences. With mainstage talent including Basement Jaxx and Goldierocks, the night also featured an opening ceremony performance, troupes of roaming performers, a karaoke room, fortune tellers and a medieval banquet. The party was the perfect end to the event.
Focusing on content as well as the creative areas of the event, we delivered an exciting, engaging two-day event, with a fresh creative execution and a range of dynamic content.
We have become embedded as a production partner and are delighted we have secured a further two-year contract with King to deliver KingfoMarket until 2021.
