When energy drink brand BURN asked us to support their sponsor activation of The Ark electronic music festival, we leapt at the chance to work in an exciting and unique environment. Why unique? This festival took place on a 2,500-capacity cruise ship, touring the Balearic Sea.
BURN wanted to go beyond sponsor activation, using the event as an opportunity to host the finals of its annual DJ competition, BURN Residency.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
We created various sponsor activations across the whole ship, from branded collateral to a main stage takeover.
On the main party deck, we hosted an interactive music experience, using oversized DJ equipment and synthesisers for guests to create their own holiday soundtracks.
The crown of the ship played host to BURN Residency – an exclusive club space for the competing DJs to prove they should be taking home the winners title and record deal.
In addition to the competing talent, established DJs Loco Dice, Luciano and Nastia were on board to support the competition, as well as international media to share live updates with the wider dance music world. This was facilitated through a panel discussion we hosted in the ship’s ballroom space.
